Unique Seafood Restaurant in Kingwood Humble TX.
Everything is special at Wazabi Sushi Bar and Hibachi Restaurant near Lake Houston off FM 1960 just East of West Lake Houston Parkway. If your in Kingwood or staying near George Bush Intercontinental airport and looking for a unique seafood and or sushi experience come on out to Wazabi Sushi Bar. It is so worth the extra drive, where off the menu is a must and always special; for example, I ordered the bang bang tacos - great for non-sushi fans and absolutely delicious. Then I ordered the off the menu "Roger Rice," named after a local that likes his fried rice spicy and full of surprises - a must try for spicy food lovers. It came with beef and shrimp in it and many other delights.
Go in tonight (open for dinner only) and tell the sushi chef what and how you like things (Omakase-which means I leave it to you) and kick back with a Lucky Buddha Beer (my recommendation) and enjoy a truly unique culinary experience. The below picture is of a medium Omakase sashimi dish. Different every time you order but always awesome!
Above is one of my favorite pairings Lucky Buddha Beer with Wa-Lu or White Tuna seafood Sashimi style (no rice) served with just a touch of strawberry that brings out the sweet taste of the fish- it will melt in your mouth!
For those that don't like sushi there are many options including a full hibachi menu! Happy Hour is everyday but Sunday (closed Sunday) from 5-7pm. Come in and give it a try today and you'll be hooked like a local!
